Hi! I’m Ash Cabral! I’m pursuing my bachelor’s in Game Development and Interactive Media, an accelerated master’s in Games and Health, and a minor in Disruptive Innovation at USC. I’m also a proud PlayStation Career Pathways Scholar and Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar.
I am a game designer passionate about combat design, level design, and cinematics that give players agency over how they explore a world. I research and design experiences that address physical and mental well-being alongside entertainment.
Games have a unique ability to let people do more than watch a story unfold; they can make choices, experiment, struggle, and discover what they are capable of. I want to work in this industry because I want to create experiences that give players that same sense of agency, both within the worlds they explore and in their own lives.

Drenched is a 3D exploration puzzle game where a burned-out artist becomes a fish. Switch between the two worlds, splashing puddles and bubbles to reconnect her past and present.
Smoke & Mirrors is a third-person stealth horror game where you inject magical smoke into leaks, follow airflow trails, reveal hidden dangers, and evade enemies in a house built on illusions.
Final Boss is a 3D turn-based RPG where you play as Bosse, a lonely knight, who becomes the unlikely guardian of the last baby dragon being hunted down to extinction.
Floodsong is a fast-paced, third-person parkour adventure through a flooded world situated on the corpse of a dead serpent god where overgrown nature goes against you.
Donuts! is an arcade driving and skateboarding adventure where you race, perform stunts, and deliver food to save your family’s struggling donut business.
Crease is a 3D Flying Adventure Game where the player controls a daughter’s letter to her father, which has been folded into a paper plane and must deliver itself safely.
